A tower connecting the brewery blocks with Burnside and southwest Portland.
ZGF Architects hosted a studio for the project.
The project site is one-half of a block, and features three stories of publicly accessible space, five floors of offices, and residential condominiums. Looking northwest.
Looking East-Northeast, the cascading gardens designed to take in the late day sun from the south and west.
The configuration of primary vertical forms does many things, including provide relief from the mass of the tower at the street.
Looking west up Washington Street. The iteration of the residential towers is expressed vigorously at the ground. This allows for finer-grained retail, and takes advantage of the plinth for shelter.
